MANAGEMENT
The District is managed by Mulhern MRE, Inc, ("MMRE"). MMRE's staff and provides management, administration, engineering, planning, design, construction management, customer service and financial management.

In 1983, the Southgate Corporate Center Metropolitan District (SCCMD) was formed as a Title 32 Special District.
BOUNDARY
The District is generally located south of East Arapahoe Road, west of I-25, north of East Dry Creek Road, and east of the Walnut Hills and Hunter’s Hill Subdivisions. The total area is approximately 180 acres.
SERVICE PLAN
The original Service Plan proposed to provide for the construction of a portion of South Yosemite Street, the northerly half of East Dry Creek Road between South Yosemite Street and I-25, an improved right turn lane along East Arapahoe Road, an acceleration/deceleration lane along South Yosemite Street, traffic signalized intersections, street improvements, street access improvements, drainage facilities, drainage area improvement, safety improvements and erosion control systems. The Plan further proposed participation with other districts in the I-25 corridor to expedite and partially fund improvements at the Arapahoe Road/I-25 interchange, and construction of a new interchange at Dry Creek Road/I-25. A maintenance and operation program was also proposed to enable SCCMD to maintain certain of the improvements and provide operational management, as required. The plan also proposed that SCCMD become a participating member in the Join Southeast Public Improvement Association (JSPIA). JSPIA was formed to plan for and fund improvements to major street and freeway interchanges along the I-25 southeast corridor.
2001 SERVICE PLAN AMENDMENT
In 2001 the District completed a Service Plan amendment to allow the District to construct the extension of South Alton Court from South Alton Way to East Dry Creek Road and to grant the District transportation powers. As a JSPIA member, the District participated in the CDOT/RTD southeast corridor planning and funding making light rail travel, continuous roadways and circulator bus systems successful in the region.
NAME CHANGE
After being annexed to the City of Centennial the District changed its name to the Southgate at Centennial Metropolitan District.
